Links to Pelvic Pain Success Stories

Hi,

I recently posted this list to another member who commented there weren't many recent pelvic pain stories around. These are stories I have slowly gathered as I heal and i just wanted to put it out there in case it is helpful for anyone else.

(Sometimes the success story is the person posting in reply to a question, so you have to read through. Sometimes the person commenting, later has complete success which you can see in one of the lower links etc. Lots of people who say they are 95%, go onto 100% if you see them post later. I haven't put all the posts in though but you get the idea. Some of the success stories come from the Pudendal Hope website. I would advise you don't spend time on that website except to read these stories as it can be quite disheartening with so many people firmly believing they have no way out when so many do.)

Please add any other stories if you know of any or have a personal one :)

Also, not pelvic pain but I really like these:

BALTO is amazing :) And ACE has great tips:

Anything by SteveO will be helpful:

Eckhart Tolle has also really helped me - both his main books.

Also: https://abigailsteidley.com
has some good tips and is very reassuring.

Ezer posted this and it's great:

I just want to add these phrases into this post too, as I remember 'Googling' them a lot when I was first 'diagnosed' and not a lot came up and it was truly terrifying. It was some time before I came across TMS.

I'm another success story! 100% healed from IC/pelvic pain for more than a year.

I know a lack of success stories was a major roadblock in my recovery, so it is great you've compiled this!

@CGP That's amazing. We would love to hear your success story in my detail... Why not post it in the success stories section?

Thanks so much for compiling these all in one place. When I first came here, I had to search around a bit for pelvic pain success stories, but there are really quite a few out there.

Just lapped a year since my first major initial recovery. No more pain! Went from sitting on pillow cushions all day googling symptoms and possible surgeries, to going on long distance bike rides and living pain-free.

Here's my story (post subject title is a bit obsolete now, as my pain is now 99.99999% better - scroll past my initial post for the most recent update):

I find a lot of people had pelvic pain and recover. One thing I have trouble finding are those who had pelvic pain and the sexual dysfunction with it. Did you all have this dysfunction as well? If so, how?
