Day 18 It's Gone!

I woke up this morning and for the first time since December, my back pain was completely gone.

    IT. WAS. GONE!

I even "searched for it" for a few minutes before telling my wife. I had to be sure.

I couldn't help but think "OK, what are you up to?"

But it was gone. I even had kind of a rough day yesterday, but no sign of it this morning.

    I feel normal again.

And somehow, I feel confident that even if it rears its ugly head (which I'm not worried about but I know is a likelihood), this just further proves that the TMS thing is real. Why would it just disappear if this was a real physical abnormality???

And I'm equipped now to deal with it if it does return.

So my question for my TMS fam is this: what's next and what do I do now?

Amazing! This is the true key and the key realisation - the beginning of the end. You simply act in alignment with this confidence and your ever-growing belief and live life again :)

    Nice!
You want to make your new mindset and mindfulness a habit - an automatic response. For me it was all about learning to stop the mindless negativity that constantly roils around in the subconscious, and saying to myself "Wait, that's not necessary!" Which means it's important to find a way to stay in touch with the principles even as you place more focus on getting your life back.

I will admit that I did not complete the SEP back in 2012 but I branched out to learn more from different resources, some based in Sarno, others who never mention him, but definitely talking about the same thing. (I developed a resource list at the end of my profile story that I've updated a bit since then.)

Of course, the way I primarily stayed in touch with the work was becoming involved here, but that's in line with my personal inclination (my whole career was one of service to individuals) and it's definitely not typical. I do feel that it's important to find some way to maintain a connection and remind yourself of the principles. There are so many resources today, and so many great practitioners providing semi-regular content that it's not hard to refresh your commitment to continue doing the work.

It's what @Adam Coloretti (coach) and @JanAtheCPA advise and what you have worked out for yourself (suggest printing it out and putting it on your fridge door as a daily reminder for the rest of your life :))...
    So pleased for you!dancea
