My legs/buttocks have a burning sensation when I sit down. The pressure of my legs on the surface triggers this sensation. A blanket doesn't trigger this sensation for me. Are you able to sit without burning pains? I believe all of these sensations are from a hyper nervous system on red alert which is TMS.

Have you been tested for neuropathy? I also think it’s the hyper nervous system

I had multiple MRI scans and an ultrasound ... nothing was found. I'm 100% certain that my nerves are not damaged. The pain was triggered suddenly (within 24 hrs) and was so severe ... it is extensive (hips to knees) and moves around ... the intensity can change. This pain is accompanied with me being in high anxiety ... severe insomnia ... restless (agitation anxiety) ... dysenergia (breathing difficulties) ... air hunger. It's defo not structural ... all my symptoms are emotionally driven. My psychological state seems to be driving this as I'm not the same person as I was prior to this pain. I used to be so chilled, relaxed and at ease. Two doctors have told me that I'm okay structurally and the most likely diagnosis is dysregulated nervous system brought on by trauma/stress. Let me tell you something ... I have severe inflammation in my colon (colitis) ... I think that is also emotionally (stress/trauma) induced .... however, I feel no pain in my abdomen! My doctor is surprised, yet I feel pain in my legs where structurally all is fine. Pain sensations are all controlled and decided by the mind ... my EMDR therapist calls it an alarm ... when you're in fight or flight your brain sends out sensations to alert you of danger. I believe I'm dealing with a very fearful brain. The more stressed/fear my brain perceives the more intense the pain. It has taken me nearly a year and tens of thousands of dollars to come to that conclusion after seeing so many doctors. You've got to look at your symptoms as a whole and not in part i.e. is it just pain or is the pain accompanied by mental issues (insomnia, restlessness, anxiety etc) .... if it's the latter I believe it's 99.9% mind driven TMS.
