    Hi everyone,

I thought you might be interested in the results of a new, European study on stress. Researchers found that stress not only damages our DNA, but they may have identified the specific process by which it does so (methylation):

I post this to once again show the relationship of mind-body. If stress can cause DNA changes, I don't think it is even a stretch to understand how our emotions can manifest as the painful physical symptoms of PPD/TMS.

    Never doubt your strength!!

    Kindly,
    Dr. Z

thanks for posting this. It is so interesting to see all of this research on just how much stress and anxiety can affect our physical health. The more research into this area, along with Dr. Schubiner's study on Fibromyalgia are all setting the stage of a signficant change in how physicians diagnose and treat chronic pain.

The mind is truly a powerful thing. It is so interesting to see research showing all of the different ways it can affect the body.
