Thanks for the rec. The IBS started in college when I was eating extremely unhealthily - pizza, subs, greasy takeout, etc. Even after switching to a more healthy diet that included more vegetables, I realized I was still eating too many carbs. I would eat a lot of cereal, bread, cheese, eggs, and pasta. Recently I've started replacing rice and bread with vegetables, and it has been a slight improvement. I now eat a lot of raw salads, avocados, tomatoes, tofu, etc. I still eat some bread, cheese, eggs, etc, but much less than I used to; I almost never eat pasta, pizza, etc. For supplements, I take Omega-3, Jarro Dophilus for probiotics, magnesium citrate, and a general multi-vitamin.
