Day 6 Holy cow I cried my eyes out tonight while journaling

    So I did my "homework" tonight and picked a subject. I was worried journaling wasnt going to do anything for me... until I started journaling tonight...

    I was crying so much... letting out those feelings... so many feelings were coming up... but it was coming out in such sad tears... and lots of anger...

    I used to pay a therapist to talk about stuff...

    I guess the saying is true "You are your own best therapist."

    Wow... crazy experience...

    I'm worn out actually.

    Time to take a nice hot bath and meditate.

    Wanted to document this. Wow...

    Never heard that saying "You are your own best therapist." but that is pretty cool.

    It really depends on the individual and their needs. Some people benefit from a therapist, others only need to use journaling. I have had a lot of success with journaling and as you are saying, it can be an incredibly emotional and rewarding experience.

    Don't read too far into that saying. Lol.

    I meant it as "for me personally, I've spent $$$ on therapists, and now through deep journaling, its neat to see that I can do it myself."
