Thank you both, I know TMS , I had it , I was able to see Dr Sarno around 15 years ago when I had severe back pain, but then I been having different symptoms, the longest pain in both of my knees, for more then 3 years, and when I got a cold or a tooth ache or stomach pain etc my knees pain disappeared but came back , the problem is I stop
fearing the pain and 3 weeks ago I bend very little to get my makeup from my table and I felt a little pain in my lower back and since then I been in excruciating pain, I can’t sit long , stand long, is horrible almost I wish my knee pain was back,I thought It was something not important and I cane to my brother’ s weeding out of the country, sit in a plain in pain , and I have all this toughts that I got very hurt, and my pain is worst here , been crying, I am under a lot of stress, back home with my husband, so many things but the pain is scaring me so much, but how I can be in this severe pain if I did not injured myself,I donth think so, but I am not sure if this is TMS or I have an injury, Thank you both for reading and responding ❤️

It's not about how severe your pain is, but how it was caused/how it continues/etc. As you know from past experience, TMS pain can be very severe!
Jim Prussack (a.k.a. the Pain PT) says that if you're doing something that is quite normal for most people and it causes pain, it is very likely TMS, not an injury. My understanding is that bending just a little can certainly make your back spasm (tension! cramp!) but is extremely likely to injure you.

right, I understand that, is just the doubt that this is causing me, even if I spasm my back why the pain is still so strong and not getting better, ❤️‍ is very confusing,

"I am under a lot of stress"
That's exactly it. And...all the things Dr. Sarno talks about in his books and probably spoke to you about.
How stress can slowly pile up.
How the way we think about ourselves plays such a huge factor.
How we tend to sweep emotions under the rug like anger and rage.
And how fear and panic play into the times we are once again experiencing the symptoms and sensations of TMS.

We're human. There is no guarentee we won't feel pain. It's how we REACT to the pain - with fear, panic, anxiety etc. that keeps it hanging around and makes it feel a lot worse.

This is TMS. Bending to your makeup table isn't something that causes injury. But tight muscles from anxiety, worry and stress sure can give us symptoms to make us pay attention and re-focus on what is really going on.

It sounds like you aren't at home right now which adds to the stress.
Here's a reminder of Dr. Sarno's 12 daily reminders to help refresh you of the work
Remember, that no matter what is going on (whether you have some doubts right now or not) doing the work he sets out for us and reminding ourselves how this work helped us in the past will help us now.

Another great and comforting source is Dr. Claire Weekes who gives clear and precise advice on anxiety, and is very much in Dr. Sarno's wheelhouse. Here she is reading her own book (for free)

Perhaps you have the ability and time to do a little deep breathing to help your nervous system regulate, and can journal a bit (or make Sarno's columns) to get your mind back in the Sarno zone.
