For many people living with chronic pain, nervous system work is often talked about in calm, quiet, ideal conditions.
But what happens when life is not calm?
What happens when the threat feels real?
And how do we create safety in the body while living through uncertainty, fear, and ongoing conflict?
This conversation is especially relevant now, as all three of our guests, including me, are speaking from within the lived reality of the current conflict. Many people are trying to heal while their nervous systems are also responding to real-world stress, grief, sirens, news, responsibility, and fear.
THIS WEEK ON TMS ROUNDTABLE RECOVERY! LIVE Q&A | How Do We Heal When the Threat Is Real?
Living Under Threat & Thriving, Part 2
Drop your questions and get answers in real time.
This week, I am honored to welcome Nadav Attias, Orian Tal, and Dr. Efrat Suraqui for a powerful conversation about pain recovery, nervous system safety, and what it means to heal when the body is living under real threat.
Dr. Efrat Suraqui is a rehabilitation physician and founder of Mibereshit Campus, Israel’s first multidisciplinary center for neuroplastic and chronic pain recovery.
Nadav Attias is a self-development and relationship coach, translator of several neuroscience and consciousness books, including three by Dr. Joe Dispenza, and a longtime meditation practitioner.
Orian Tal is a psychotherapist who helps people explore the emotional and existential roots of pain, drawing from both clinical work and his own recovery from TMS back pain.
Together, we’ll explore practical ways to create safety for the nervous system amid real-world stressors, so we can respond rather than react, soften symptoms, restore trust in the body, and reconnect with our capacity to live and heal.
