    Hi all,

I am a student taking part in a non-paid research project with the goal of creating an easy-to-use online experience for a specialist hand and wrist clinic. I was looking for people who have had a condition, injury, or trauma on their hand or wrist. If you could share your experiences in this thread or via messages on any of the following topics:

    • Can you tell me a little about when your hand/wrist condition/injury first occurred?

    • How has your hand/wrist condition/injury impacted your daily activities, such as work, exercise, and leisure activities? What about the use of computers and smartphones?

    • Have you sought medical advice or treatment for your hand injury? If so, what was your experience like with healthcare providers?

    • If you have, how did the GP / hospital let you know about your appointments and confirm any treatment plans?

    • Are there any other sources of information on your hand/wrist condition/injury you look at online or visit to discuss your experience with others? If so, what do you like about them?
We will use any responses or answers in my research project. Unless you ask me to do it differently in our research write up we will blur your user name and will do similarly if you mention the name of a particular doctor or clinic.

Thank you very much for your time

Second of three (so far) copies of the same thread (with the same response from me), also posted in General and Community Off-Topic subforums with slightly different subject lines. The posts show up together for anyone who goes directly to the "All Recent Threads" page as I do.

I get that students need to do projects, but I'm not sure whether (or why) any of our forum members would want to spend time to provide free information for a specialist clinic which shows no indication it will be promulgating TMS principles - but there are no hyperlinks to unvetted URLs, so whatever. Can't hurt to ask, I guess.
