Grief! Who knew? It’s right up there with rage

Diana-M

Beloved Grand Eagle
Sarno said our TMS brain is trying to keep us from having to feel our rage. But if you look closely, he also named grief as one of those other strong emotions we avoid.

I’m following a new mentor (in addition to all of you!), who nearly died and was hospitalized from more than 100 TMS symptoms in her twenties. She was demolished. But she completely recovered. I am really inspired by her recovery story.

I’m currently in her paid community, Haven, in which she focuses a lot on grief. To start with, she addresses the grief you feel from having TMS. When I did her somatic grief class, I was able to release some of it, and I was shocked at how sad and angry I was and how tightly I was holding on to it to prevent its escape. It’s honestly, a load off. I’m going to keep doing these grief sessions!

My symptoms are lessening. That’s why I’m sharing this with you. :) I journaled on my rage til I was blue in the face and I only got more tense. This grief aspect has opened my eyes. I guess everyone is different. We just have to keep digging and sticking our necks out there and stop running from any hard emotions. we have to try all angles and then stick with it.
