Finding TMS therapists?

Nowadays, I'm wondering if TMS / Pain Reprocessing Therapy is more common -- if I go somewhere like psychologytoday to look for a therapist, how can I find one that does TMS therapy and takes insurance?

I know "pain management" is not the same thing. Any keywords to filter in/out ?

Unfortunately, I didn't find anyone showing up on a Psychology Today search - your best bet is to look at the Pain Reprocessing website that lists therapists in your state and then look at their websites to see how they bill. Coaches who are not LSW's or who don't hold a medical degree won't be able to bill through your insurance. Unless they work through an agency, I found most won't bill through insurance because they don't have time to do the paperwork and see patients. It's easier for them to offer you a Super Bill so that you can do the leg work through insurance. Another resource is the Symptomatic.me website, but searching for someone who will take your insurance is sort of the same process.
You can try searching "pain reprocessing" on Psychology Today and see if that works.

I will second the suggestion to use the Pain Reprocessing Therapy directory; I found a local practitioner who is a PT who trained in PRT recently and our sessions were amazingly covered by my insurance since they qualified as physical therapy technically. I think this situation is still uncommon in the US but it is possible. I should say though that I didn’t find they were a great fit for me and didn’t end up doing more than a few sessions with them.
