Question
I had an unusual back injury and couldn't heal it through
chiropractors, etc....I read about TMS and went to a TMS
Therapist, which was helpful.

He suggested I have an Orthopedic Doctor trained in TMS
look at my X-rays and MRI....Then have a short phone
Conversation to get the Doctor's opinion.

Does Dr Hoffman do such things?....I would greatly
appreciate it if he did...I live in New Jersey and can
mail him a CD of my spine X-ray and MRI.

Whatever fee he suggests will probably work for me.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
Vince Shea

Answer
This is a question that we get quite often. Working with a TMS physician is an important component of recovery.

There's a very thorough list on the TMS Wiki providing a list of TMS physicians state by state (and country by country). Here's a link to that list:

If you happen to live in a state without a TMS physician, it's often worth the trip to go see one. Nothing is more effective at eradicating doubt than getting solid confirmation from a physician that you have TMS.
