Tutorial Find all of the threads you've posted in (and the glasses icon)

    We have some terrific discussions on our site, but have you ever wanted to return to an old thread that you've posted to, but can't find it? Using the "Search..." box in the upper right of every page can help. However, wouldn't it be nice if there were a list of every thread that you've posted in?

    Well, it turns out there is. To find it, you just click on the "Watched Threads" link near the top of every page. (If you are viewing this on a phone or tablet, you may have to click the menu first).

    This "Watched Threads" list includes, by default, every thread that you have ever posted in. Such threads are indicated by the glasses icon in lists of threads:


    I lay it all out in the following video tutorial and also show you how to add threads to your watch list without posting in them:

    I also made a follow up video that shows you how to control preferences for which watched threads give you alerts and notification emails. The material in the first video, above, is "must-know," but the material in the following video gives you a few more options:
