I just finished reading John Sarno's book and have read several others based on the Mindbody principle. I've been working on exercises in this vein for about 3 months now. I have had a few better days, but am still suffering quite a bit. I had to retire 3 years ago from teaching because of the pain and fatigue. Now I live on my pension because I can't work and can't get disability. I absolutely believe that my problems stem from TMS. I hope that working through the exercises in this forum will give me some of the positive results I have read about. Any suggestions or encouragement is greatly appreciated!
