Beloved Grand Eagle
I once put forth the idea of going through all the success stories on this site in a systematic way using a well-designed survey tool that would allow us to then see the similarities in what led to people's success, how long it took, etc. I also thought it would be helpful to do a 6 month and 12 month follow up survey with people who post success stories to see how sustained their success has been. However, I don't have the skill or will to do it myself at this time. However, I think it would be a good project for a PhD psychology student, perhaps for their thesis. Obviously, this doesn't have the weight of a double blind randomized research project, but I think the information would be helpful and edifying.I fully agree with this point.
I can imagine designing that study must have been very complicated because of the variables at play.
Like you've mentioned, I'm sure his Team has given it alot of thought.
On another note, I'd really like to see a database of success stories, similar to that of the spontaneous remissions project. Who knows maybe someone in the TMS world is collating these success stories in a central repository.
