Feeling worn out !

Is it ok to some days just feel really sorry for yourself and spend the day crying on and off ! This feel counterproductive but also impossible to suppress.

I felt that way for about a year. Dr. Hanscomb calls it the abyss. It’s pretty rough. Then something happened and I came out. I hope it happens to you too. All I can say is I never gave up. I just kept at it. Hugs to you. It’s hard!

The Abyss is definitely how I felt for most of today - usually mornings are good and afternoons/ evenings are bad. I think resting and withdrawing was the right call today - I tried to view it not as giving up but as selfcare and I kept repeating I am not in danger I am not in pain - eventually I guess I listened as things have eased a little - thanks for being there when needed. You are so kind

I’m here! You’re not alone. This forum is filled with warriors who are doing it. It’s a very hard road. And you are very brave. I’m glad things got a little better! I know you’ll come out of this. Just keep on going. Always believe! And it’s good you can be gentle with yourself. That’s important! ❤️ Tomorrow is another day. And it can always be a better day.
