Amazing how good ‘feeling good’ feels .... five days after thyroid surgery I am not in pain anymore (well, a bit an unpleasant feeling when I eat or move the neck abruptly). I only took half of the painkillers they prescribed and now I am down to a fifth of it. No TMS pain either.
So, the flare I had was for a reason; to be overworked and stressed plus to have an upcoming surgery are good enough as an explanation.
What did I learn: it doesn’t pay off to stress yourself about a flare. It’s just that, a flare.
