I am 90 percent sure that what ive got is TMS BUT, i struggle with two health issues that cleary fall beyond the diagnosis.

Firstly, i have blood clots in both my lungs... no medical idea how, or why.

Secondly, i get very powerful back spasms staring at 5am... these wake me up and since im asleep when they're happening, am confused about their purpose and origin.

Having said that, the traveling pain and other attitudes lead me to the TMS diagnosis

Have you consult your therapist? Those are serious symptoms

@Francis.Antonius, your back pain, timed to the same time every day, and designed to wake you up just so you can worry about it, has all the signs of TMS. Your brain is not inactive when you are asleep!

Now, regarding the blood clots, let me say up front that even if this clotting syndrome is stress-based (and a quick keyword search on "stress and blood clots" returns some intriguing results) please don't abandon any medical treatment you are receiving without definitive proof that you are, at some point, cleared of these clots. Let's take this one seriously.

Dr Gabor Mate, MD believes that long-term exposure to the stress of emotional repression can in fact create serious physiological changes and conditions. This is a scary concept that goes beyond what we accept as TMS, but personally, I believe it (Dr Gabor Mate, MD "When The Body Says No"). I also believe that our bodies are designed to heal, if we give them a chance, which means doing the emotional work to release our repressed unconscious emotions.
