THIS WEEK ON TMS ROUNDTABLE RECOVERY LIVE Q&A!
He once needed a cane or walking boot because of knee pain.
His tinnitus became so loud he feared it could interfere with his work as a therapist.
He lived with shoulder pain, severe foot pain, headaches, and a highly sensitized nervous system.
Today, his knee pain is gone.
He no longer needs the cane.
His tinnitus can disappear for weeks at a time.
His headaches are less frequent.
So what changed?
LIVE Q&A | How Do We Reduce the FEAR Surrounding Our CHRONIC SYMPTOMS?
Drop your questions and get answers in real time.
This week, I am honored to welcome Kenneth Lee, LPC, NCC, a psychotherapist specializing in chronic pain and mind-body healing in Tucson, Arizona.
Since age 17, Ken experienced multiple forms of chronic pain and persistent symptoms, including shoulder pain following a pinched nerve, severe foot pain after being diagnosed with arthritis, intermittent knee pain that at times required a cane or walking boot, tinnitus, and headaches.
Over time, Ken came to understand that a highly sensitized nervous system and central sensitization were playing an important role in how these symptoms were being experienced.
After training in Pain Reprocessing Therapy and applying neuroplastic pain and sensory processing methods to his own symptoms, he experienced major changes.
Today, he serves as a case consultant for the Pain Reprocessing Therapy Center, works as a pain coach with WellBody Psychotherapy, and maintains a private psychotherapy practice.
Across these roles, he helps people better understand the mind-body connection, central sensitization, and one of the most important pieces of chronic symptom recovery:
Reducing fear.
Together, we’ll talk about Pain Reprocessing Therapy, neuroplastic pain, sensory processing, central sensitization, and how changing the way we respond to symptoms can begin to change the experience of the symptoms themselves.
Wednesday, October 14
