Day 3 Exercise!

    The last time I really and truly exercised in a formal, real, actual was was 2017. We had a family membership at the YMCA and I would do spin class, Pilates, cardio dance, and yoga. I LOVED how I felt free and well-worn out after a good exercise. I love the feeling of muscles that have been worked, how much easier it is to breathe and do housework because I was physically fit, and I loved how relaxed I felt afterward.

    I stopped all of this once I began having chronic migraines that coincided with a remote job I was not handling well. After that, my physical activity was chasing kids around the house and, once I got back into working in childcare, being physically active with kids in the classroom. Most recently, after surgery on 10/9, I began physical therapy to restrengthen my muscles and the right side of my body that has been affected by severe myelopathy. I am looking forward to my full recovery and ability to get back into the habit of exercising again!
