I'm still exercising almost daily, although I have rearranged my programming to start taking a full rest day every week starting this week. I'm a runner first and foremost and would love to be able to do my favorite fall half again after missing out last year. I also lift weights following BODi programs at home.
There is still a lot of fear in my mind about damaging myself by continuing, especially as my symptoms are worsening and spreading. There is an aspect of BDD here that keeps me going. I've been told to stop and ease back in, but I'm stubborn. I know my reasons for still exercising may not be the best but they're mine and I don't think they should keep me from what I want.
If the symptoms get much worse than this, though, I don't know. My whole right side in the back and around to my abdomen hurts, and the hamstring has turned into shooting nerve pain. I keep hoping it's just my brain fighting back and not me going downhill physically.
