I used to enjoy being active all my life. Yoga, pilates, fitness, bring it on up to 2-3 hours a day. This was part of my life, hobby pleasure, addiction of some sort. I have qualified ad a yoga instructor and wanted to inspire other people by my example of being fit, slim, graceful and strong, and I was. Until the severe fybromalgia started. I had to quit gym and avoid most of the physical exercises including my beloved daily stretching and even walking as it was cousing a severe cripling pain. I could not understand that something that gave and gives me such q joy and pleasure can couse so much pain. Further I was told ai have multiple minor structural changes in my spine and joints and I believed it. The pain increased even more fueled by fear and drsperation. This was devastating and destroying. The hardest part of being sick. Possible my body learned to perceive exercises as danger...but why? I am puzzled. I am encorporating pilates and gentle stretching into my daily life with caution, and I want to do more, so much more....I want to run, jump, do HIT, aerobics, mountain biking hiking. I will. I have to be patient witj myself and compationate, but I want to recovet in second- someone, pleaezr flip the switch!!!! Ok Ok, Once the danger signals will fade. Dear friends, does anyone has the same issues? I would appreciate you insights.
