Dr. Daniel Amen is going to publish a book called “Change Your Brain, Change Your Pain: Breaking the Doom Loop to Heal Chronic Physical and Emotional Pain“ scheduled for release on December 2, 2025. This is very relevant for millions of people who have experienced mind body disorders. It's great that this subject is getting more attention, Dr. Amen is the perfect person to bring this message to the mainstream masses as he has a huge media reach. Dr. Sarno was a pioneer but almost no one has ever heard of him which is very sad. This could be a huge milestone moment for the knowledge this group already has, potentially leading countless people down a healing path. Let's hope the book is good!! :angelic:

Hey@Odrog, thanks for posting this news. I couldn't recall where I'd heard of Daniel Amen, but after looking at his bio, I guess the question becomes, where haven't I? LOL, he's been everywhere, and now I think he's probably done at least one of those fundraising PBS specials which I can't stand, but I guess they are pretty popular. His list of public and media platforms is really wide-ranging, which is encouraging for this work to get a foot in the door of rigid and obsolete standards of medical care.

It's funny that you're still labeled as a "newcomer" by our old clunky forum software just because you've only posted a few times in eight years. Maybe you should drop in more often (no pressure!) :D

Yea, I found out about the book when he mentioned it in a recent interview with Tucker Carlson:
(Tucker has a huge following so that's massive exposure)
Dr. Amen has done many PBS gigs, I think that really put him on the map.
Not sure what to expect from the book, or if it will cover any new ground to us.

p.s. yea I don't post much but this site is a great resource I recommend to people struggling with mind body pain. The techniques described in the free course are excellent. I have overcome all symptoms (and I've had a very long list of them, haha). Wishing you the best!
