I could personally relate to many things in this sucess story. I certainly know what it is like to feel completely hopeless and disheartened. I understand when he says it was a "dark" time. I also know what it is like when the pain interferes at work as well as your personal life. I myself got very frustrated having to find someone to help me every time i needed to lift something heavy. I have also had the experience of making my way in a circle through the healthcare system only to wind up back in front of my GP and have him recommend i go to physio. Again. I too had a failed surgery which was hugely upsetting and disappointing because i really only put myself through it to finally end the suffering! I felt the same way when i first heard of Dr. Sarno, it was a ray of light in a bleak and dark time. I actually read an article in a magazine that mentioned his book in a waiting room of all places! Why i happened to choose that magazine and flip to that page I'll never know. I can only think it was the universe calling out to me! It was great to hear how Enrique went on to compete in Iron Man Triathlons. I was a mountain bike racer, an avid equestrian, and an agressive downhill skier just a few years ago. I want to believe there is hope i will be these things again soon. For a while i had given up all hope.

It was providential that you read Dr. Sarno in a magazine article while in a doctor's or hospital waiting room.
TMS healing will get you back bike racing, riding horses, and skiing. You also could find Steve Ozanich's book helpful.
In The Great Pain Deception, he tells how he healed from back pain by going back to playing golf. His healing
included ignoring any pain from physical activity and discovering what caused him to have his pain symptoms...
anger at doctors for having botched their surgery and put his wife in a wheelchair, saying she probably would never get out of it.
He had deal with that anger and it released him from his pain.
