For today’s journaling I wrote about a period in my life when panic and anxiety were very present. While these symptoms never stopped me from living my life or doing the things I wanted, they came with intense internal tension and fear that took away a lot of joy and ease.
During that time I often felt confused, overwhelmed, and alone, especially because I didn’t feel truly understood by others. I tried to solve it on my own, which made the anxiety even more exhausting.
Reflecting on this event helps me see how carrying fear without support contributed to ongoing tension and symptoms, and how much sense my reactions make in hindsight.
