    Hi everyone,

    I found this study fascinating:

    http://www.thehealthymind.com/2012/12/03/a-doctors-empathy-raises-pain-tolerance-in-patients-study/

Individuals were able to raise their tolerance to pain when they were encouraged to discuss their feelings with their doctor. It is an extremely small study, but I thought it was worthwhile to share with you.

In this age of rush-rush-rush medical care, I hope health professionals take notice of these results.

I hope you find it helpful.

    Kindly,
    Dr. Z
