Day 4 pain increases just reading Dr Schubiners articles
My family doctor told me the “pain was all in my head” and “ the pain is not real” , he then threw me a business card for a psychiatrist
This made me furious and I left him and never went back
My current dr really young and no TMS experience ( surprise, surprise ) but he at least cares
 
I think we all pretty much interpret “the pain is all in your head” as being mentally ill. If your doctor had said “hey, I know this sounds strange, but science has discovered that your brain can generate pain long after your (body part) has technically healed, and there are some books and movies about this” you would have been far more receptive, right?
I know I would have been!!
