Delicate subject, difficult question

Hi all,
How does one go on if the pain itself is what is causing you to repress feelings/emotions? Rather than the other way round so to speak.
I have chronic pelvic pain syndrome and RSI but its the first one i'm referring to here. I've had CPPS for 20 years on and off, but in the last 5 years its got markedly worse. This has forced me to repress "certain" feelings and has no doubt enraged my inner self. I'm not totally comfortable talking about this in the open forum, but any general advice would be very welcome. I would feel more comfortable talking about this via private messages if anyone felt like helping me out? I just can't sort this one out in my head.
Thank you,
