What I find most helpful is the list I made with past- and current stressors and the personality traits. That gave me a lot of insight in why the pain is there, but I also find some stuff which I thought I had resolved. Writing about it and to the people that did it to me, felt freeing.
Also reading Dr. Sarno his book gave me a lot of medical insight why my body created this pain...
I had some insights about my childhood where I just didn't felt heard or seen, I see all of that now. I'm also doing some inner child meditations and that helps me a lot.
Today during the Thinking Clean and Thinking Psychologically blog, a big headache turned up. So I guess my body is responding... It's not easy to sit your body down, ask questions and wait for the answer. But I'll keep going.
