Well, I don't know what to think. Over the weekend (days 5-6), I was pretty much pain free. I went to the gym and did a leg workout. I worked in the yard and was on my feet cleaning up the house. I was mobile. I was happy and moving. I was pain free.

But then Monday came along. Blue Monday! The pain returned, the numbness in my toes returned. I am sad and frustrated. I am a teacher who sits now. I can't move around the room to check in with my students. I am not who I want to be.

Hello...if you have pain free days, then it returns, just remember that reinforces that the pain is not due to a physical problem. If you had pain free days a few days ago, you certainly can again. My symptoms have been coming and going for several weeks, but they all seem less scary. There are good articles on this site regarding extinction bursts...aka...the mind trying desperately to keep you scared when it knows you are making progress. They point out that this part of the healing process. A sign you are doing good. http://www.tmswiki.org/forum/threads/day-19-extinction-bursts.16651/ (New Program - Day 19: Extinction Bursts)
    Good luck,
