Q: After you meditate take a few minutes a make a forum post on how it went. Did you have trouble meditating? Do you have any questions regarding how to do it? More importantly how did meditating make you feel?
A: I put a timer on my phone for 5 minutes then laid back in my reclining chair & focused on breathing in for the count of 5 & out for the count of 5.
At the same time I went down each body area, starting with my head & ending at my toes. At each point I said "I am at peace with my feelings" & "No & get out of here!" (talking to the pain).
I felt empowered to be saying NO! to my brain who has been putting my body in progressively worse states of pain since walking (approximately 53 years). It felt good to not feel like a victim of it & want to protect myself from harm rather than feeling like something about me deserved it.
Thank you for reading MBS family.
