As Dr. David Clarke say in his book - your relationships all start changing. Your self-confidence increases to the point where putting up with abuse is no longer acceptable.

I just ended a 14 year relationship with a friend. This is what I journaled this morning.

Conflict, anger, trash compactor blowing up, heart beat pounding, pulse racing, tired of being pushed, pushed, pushed - No More. No more putting down my opinions and perspectives. No more controlling, No more domineering, no more pushing -No More.

Can she change - no. Can I change - yes. Rapid heart beat, pulse racing. I can do it. I am not going to allow it any more - No More, No more. No more putting me down- No More. No more pushing me around - No More.

Things are changing. I am strong, I am changing. No longer scary, valuing me, my ideas, my perspective, my opinion.

My new them song is from Rocky – Gonna Fly Now
    Trying hard now
    It's so hard now
    Trying hard now

    Getting strong now
    Won't be long now
    Getting strong now

    Gonna fly now
    Flying high now
    Gonna fly, fly, fly...

    Hi SandyRae,

I'm sorry to hear about the friendship ending but it's wonderful to see you making changes that support YOU! I have noticed a lot of my relationships have changed since working on TMS. I just feel less inclined time to spend one-on-one time with the drama-seeking energy-vampire friends. I am spending more time with people who support who I am now.

    Take care,
