When was the last time you exercised or did another physical activity? What was this activity? How did it make you feel physically and emotionally? If it is has been a while since you last exercised, why?

I have exercised and stretched regularly since my injury last February but not in the same way I did prior to my injury. I did the exercises that were recommended to me by my PT and chiropractor. I do think they were helpful as I did lose a lot of muscle in my injured leg but I was still afraid to resume my normal activities. On Sunday my daughter and I went for an hour long bike ride and I walked the hills at the park near our house. I felt great! My goal is to gradually start resuming my old activities. One day this week I would like to go to the track near our house and jog short distances. One of my favorite cardio activities used to be a track workout where I would run the straight stretches and walk the curves and then do some bleachers. Of course my diagnoses of chondromalacia patella scared me thinking I should avoid these types of activities. Nonsense!
