Day 27- other TMS symptoms

Great read about TMS and seasonal allergies. I find myself questioning every negative symptom I have now and wonder if its TMS/MBS. I have had seasonal allergies for as long as I can remember and got allergy testing that said I was allergic to just about everything that grows in spring. I suffer a lot in the spring!
It makes me wonder, I had a tumultuous childhood and even during the time that I got the allergy testing done, I was under a lot of stress, maybe the allergies I have had all my life are TMS???
All of the educational pieces made sense, our beautiful brains do a ton to protect us from ourselves.
How is journaling working for you? What techniques do you find most effective? Do you think you are avoiding any specific technique or issue?
Journaling works great for me. I find the unsent letters, free writing on a topic, the prompts on how I felt about a experience/personality trait/ current stressor and the journaling a conversation with different body parts, sensations and people. free writing on fear and anger have yielded great results as well as a conversation I had with my hips.
I have had some personal discoveries that I don't think would have happened if I didn't journal about it. I am getting pretty good at identifying emotional issues that bring pain flare ups, however, journaling helps to flush it out and if I need to talk to someone about an issue, journaling can help me figure out what I need to talk about. I also find that journaling gives me something to look back on. Last week, I went through my posts for SEP and allowed myself to see how far I have come and how much progress I have made. This is helpful for me when I am struggling with fear of pain. A part of me is still waiting for the magic to wear off.

I am continuing to increase physical activity and manage the fear of the pain. 10-minute Gentle yoga flow in the morning to get me going and I'm up to 20 to 30 minutes of "movement/dance party" during the day in 10-minute increments.
I continue to use self-talk to help my brain relearn what regular muscle soreness from a workout feels like. Fear of pain is a daily thing and I persist. My peloton will be here next week!!
