Day 25 Day 25 thoughts

Yesterday I played 9 holes of golf!

Since the golf season has started I decided to use nike’s motto and just do it instead of overthinking if I was ready or not. And although I was in some minor pain and felt stiff I played the nine holes and it was fine and I enjoyed it so much getting back on the course!

I am more and more everyday convinced that my pain is TMS and I am looking forward to the day I can play golf pain free.

I am very concious that my recovery is maybe a bit slower due to high intensity period at work and most importantly I think it’s fine and just try to ignore the tension headaches and back pain I sometimes get at work or to just think, “this is just tms, nothing to worry about” and almost always it stops getting worse or even gets better.

I feel like I am getting there and I am hopeful to enjoy my summer in a bit less pain.

I don't see playing nine holes of golf within 25 days as being slow at all (if anything, it's the opposite), well done! :)

It is fine! From experience, slow is good; it gives the work you’re doing time to percolate and your brain time to adjust. When there’s a high-intensity period at work or other pressures in life, it’s best to keep off the gas pedal as much as you can with regard to adding any extra pressure.
