To simplify my life, I should do some things that I’m currently not putting into practice though.
I’m always aware of what I could do to simplify my life, but there’s this resistance that stops me from actually doing it.
I know for sure that, to simplify my life, I should do fewer things that I impose on myself throughout the day. I can mentally set priorities, but in practice I don’t know how to hold myself back—I keep trying to do one thing after another, even when some of them have little real value. I try to fit everything in, and most of the time I end up exhausting myself physically.
I would like to change this aspect of myself as soon as possible, but when I try to do it, it feels unnatural — like I’m forcing myself — to decide not to complete certain things I had planned to do. Maybe this is proof that I struggle to let go and that I always need to keep everything under control.
To live more simply and with less heaviness. That’s how I would like to live
