Three things that make me feel angry are:
    1) Seeing someone get bullied and picked on.
    2) watching my mother die of cancer and knowing there is nothing I can do about it.
    3) Not having an easy and fast solution to all my pain no matter how bad I want to recover.

Three things that make me feel sad are:
    1) The death of my mother
    2) The struggle I see my dad going through trying to adjust to a life of his own.
    3) My inability to feel and express love toward others.

Hi Mquest. I'm sorry you're angry and sad, but those are understandable reasons why you have both emotions. I'm 86 and have lost some loved ones, both family and friends, and also dogs whom I loved so much. They say time heals all wounds, but it does take a while. We have to deal with loss as best we can, and it helps to focus on the good times we had together. You've just begun the SEProgram. You will find the journaling and other exercises very helpful.

As for not being able to express love toward others, they may just not deserve it. Focus love on those who do and who appreciate it.
