    Hello All
I will try and keep this brief.

The good news is that I no longer have excruciating burning pain in my lower ankle (L5/S1) disc herniation diagnosed one year ago. All doctors are telling me I have a herniation but nothing that is severe enough that it warrants an operation.

I have accepted my TMS diagnosis somewhat, but I often get discouraged daily. I have been journaling and crying a lot especially when I read back to others.

Today and for the last month I have pain in my buttock in the area where hip bursitis would be. I had an injection one month ago and at that time the bursar in physical exam appeared swollen. The pain went away, but now is back (not as bad) However on physical examination by my physical therapist there is no swelling at all and it is normal.

Has anyone had TMS that manifested itself with hip bursitis?

Has anyone had disc pain for over a year and sciatica and had it go away by doing the SEP and reading Dr.Sarno' s books?

I am worried and having a lot of self doubt right now. My therapist us trying to guide me through this, but I am so sick of dealing with it.

    Any advice or thoughts?

    Thanks
    Steve

I don't have those types of pains and I am not sure but I can tell you to please stick to it. It does get better and the fact that you have seen progress already is such a good sign.
