Day 13: TMS media

John Stossel's "2020" report remains, to me, the best and most accessible mainstream treatment of TMS. I have the big three Sarno books - and they're classics - but the book that seems to know me and my funny sensitive brain best is The Great Pain Deception. Today's day 13 article by Jonah Lehrer was, honestly, probably the worst thing I've read on the subject in the way that it seems to attempt to medicalize what Sarno achieved through commonsense talk with his patients. I mean, if you try to hook my brain up with electrodes, buddy, you're going down.
