Hi, jodib. If you've been checked out for anything structural, the pain is TMS.
Have no doubts about that.
I found journaling to be very helpful in discovering my repressed emotions,
going back to my childhood when my parents divorced when I was seven.
I didn't realize how much that affected me. In journaling I realized they had
a lot of TMS of their own. Understanding them better helped me to forgive them,
posthumously, because they both had died by then. Forgiving them, my back pain went away.
You have started on a wonderful journey to becoming pain-free and a happier, healthier person.
TMS is truly a journey of self-discovery.
