New to this programme, a little bit about my story:
Around three years ago (aged 24) I suddenly developed right knee pain potentially from the gym (unsure) Over the course of the next month it got so painful I had to use a wheel chair to get around. Fast forward a couple months and the pain spread to my lower back and upper back. It was so debilitating that I got 3 months leave from work (work which I absolutely hated and caused me so much stress).
After an MRI on my knee, spine and a few months of PT I stumbled across John Sarno, his books and from there the curable app. I believe I was very fortunate to come across his theories so early on in my pain journey. I immediately believed that my pain was caused by suppressed emotions. I began to read more around TMS, meditate and work through the curable app. Two months later I was completely pain free.
However my story doesn’t stop there as about 8 months later I started to experience left hip pain that occasionally radiated down my leg. An MRI has confirmed a very small tear in my hip labrum.
Its been a year and I have had no improvement. I I’m trying to come to terms with maybe the pain isn’t due to the tear but instead is TMS again.
This time I have doubt - the MRI shows I have a tear. Is it possible this is a relapse? I’m hoping this time a more structured approach may be the solution to get rid of the pain longer term.
So im wondering has anyone else experienced a relapse and questioned if it was TMS?
thanks!
