I read about the parasympathetic nervous system in Steven's book 'Great Pain Deception' and am curious what aspects are involved in it as part of your daily practice.

Here's what I'm working on:
In the morning:
Relaxation Response by Herbert Benson: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=550&v=nBCsFuoFRp8 (Relaxation Response: Dr. Herbert Benson Teaches You The Basics)
Progressive muscular relaxation audio:

Several times a day: 4-7-8 breathing by Andrew Weil

Afternoon:
deep breathing while imagining being in a sunny forest and visualizing the oxygen seeping into parts of body where it hurts on the in-breath and relaxing those muscles on the out-breath.

before going to sleep:
Full body relaxation audio (~20 mins): https://www.westernsydney.edu.au/currentstudents/current_students/services_and_facilities/counselling_services/stress_and_your_wellbeing/relaxation_recordings (Relaxation recordings | Western Sydney University)

Thanks.

Thanks for posting this. I was going to look for new relaxation audios and you saved me the time!
