Hi Doc! My question to her is how she managed the last leg of recovery, when she knew she was doing the work and healing would eventually come, but she didn't know how long it would take. Would she question herself if there was something missing, or did she accept she was on the right track and carried on?

Thanks for all the help and keep it up!

Very good question! Yes, in fact I did ask myself curiously (not with desperation) whether there was something missing when my sciatica pain seemed to linger. I got the answer soon: I still wouldn't trust that my legs could take all normal activity and was avoiding lunging or running. I therefore went for a very short run (just 100m) to prove to myself and show my brain that my body could totally handle this and to undo the belief that running might hurt. After that run, which I did with full confidence and firmness in my new beliefs, the symptoms went away. For this reason I'm a firm believer that if symptoms linger there's still something going on (a sneaky belief or something that's bothering you deeply).

Thank you very much Doc and Miriam. And great episode! A lot of food for thought, specially the part you talk about core beliefs.
