Please note (if I am not wrong) TMS is not about somatization of «bad» emotions (sadness, loss, abandonment, grief,...) but about unconscious REPRESSION of threatening/unwanted «dangerous» emotions (rage, anger, fury,...). Pain is the protective strategy used by our brain in order to distract us from our unbearable/overhelming rage against people, situations, society, conventions, norms,.... even against ourselves (at least against our «dark shadow»).

Yep! The anger or negative emotions we feel is NOT TMS, it’s the anger we DON’T feel that is - good distinction there.
