Another question re: bone marrow edema

Hi , I posted twice about my CRPS/RSD diagnosis and my swollen tendons but unfortunately I'm still at my wits end. My MRI showed bone marrow edema in the tips of my toes. When I try to walk it literally feels as if all my toes are broken and crushed. Could this be nerve damage? I've had the bone edema for six months . Should I visualize normal toes etc.? It's just so excruciating and I can't find any info. on this condition even with regards to CRPS. Sorry to ramble, I've never struggled this hard with anything in my whole life. I conquered severe leg spasms and I have a positive attitude about other challenges in my life (my son is severely autistic)but I'm at a loss. I truly appreciate the replies. I probably would have jumped off a bridge if it weren't for this site.

As our world grows more complex, our bodies suffer the consequences. Litigation and accusations have caused everyone to draw back, and we have become a No-Touch society. We have not become ill in a vacuum. We have become ill in our communities, in relationships.

Thus, we cannot heal in a vacuum, either. It takes community. More than that, we need touch. Gentle, healing touch. It does not need to be a specialist, nor a professional. We need someone who simply possesses a compassionate heart and a kind touch. It is well documented that babies are malformed or even die when touch is withheld. Fear keeps many from seeking the very thing that can empower your body.

I cannot speak on the medical issues. I haven't the right, nor the knowledge. I can speak of the energy and power of touch.

There is irony in this. All my internal guards go on full alert when a touch is coming. It is a defensive reaction that I continually work with. Many years ago, after my surgery to replace the 2nd mp joint in my left foot (the joint literally died from lack of blood supply), my husband was charged with the task of continuing my physical therapy after I panicked at being handled by a PT. He would just hold my foot and I would fall into a complete meltdown of flashbacks. My mother's third husband, a violent alcoholic, would knock me down, grab an ankle, and wrench all my toes back. He told me 'this is how you break little toes'. To this day, my little toes are drawn back with visible tendon tension. Having my husband hold my foot ... I couldn't bear the memories or the fear. Not for a long time.

Now, I love having my feet rubbed. I am still on guard, ready for the pain that does still come, but the guards are softer, less rigid. The pleasure affects my entire body and sends pleasure tingles down the base of my skull.

I don't know if you have considered a massage therapist (therapist being the key word). Pain makes us terribly tense. Even if the pain cannot be addressed directly, the massage can soften muscles which are strangling the nerves and blood vessels and lymph system, allowing more oxygen to flow and more toxins to be expelled.

Even just the loving touch of a friend would be beneficial.

Meanwhile, the gentle souls on this forum will always offer healing and compassionate energy for your situation. That is the gift of this community.

You have within you all the strength you will need. Really.

    with grace and gratitude,
    ^_^

Those are healing words Lily Rose- Very Wise

Heres a success story with CRPS- http://www.tmswiki.org/ppd/Complex_Regional_Pain_Syndrome_(CRPS)

Heres another one for RSD- http://www.tmswiki.org/ppd/Reflex_Sympathetic_Dystrophy_(RSD)

You can find what you want here at this Seach Engine url- http://tmswiki.org/search/

    Bless You.

You can use visualizations to help ease the pain and pressure-
it will take a while with a lot of practice but its very beneficial.

Tms healing is like wise, just the part where you are suppossed to let the pain reside
Make sure you do that part, dont hurt yourself more.

Karim. You have read Sarnos books?
I think you have, have you journaled out your day to day stresses on paper?
Have you studied Claire Weeks, Hope and Help for your nerves?

Your pain is subconscious now, you have programmed or wired your brain this way through your nuero pathways.

If your worrying about the pain, well , thats not helping either.

If your srressing about getting better, well that is the tms.

You have to not care when the pain leaves, only do the work of learning what you are stressing over daily and learn not to stress over anything, nothing at all until you heal

Learn Focusing by Eugene Genlend. You can find his system here in the search bar.

A man without worry can conquer his every desire.

What happens is, we have chronic negative thought patterns that become habitual on a day to day basis. Every day you are creating tension without realizing it because these thought patterns are on automatic. Our brains sort of go on autopilot . The work is becoming aware of those thoughts patterns in the day too day. It's the day to day stuff that keep the TMS strategy alive. It becomes habitual. Figuring out past traumas in your life is only part of it. Once you have looked at those and you can see how patterns started, it becomes time to look at how these are carrying over into our present. The body is a sense, gets stuck in the past. When you change your mind and mindset (make that shift), the body will follow suit. The mind and body are one.

And, you only read them, no way did you take months and months of work applying then or youd be alot better by now. You are fighting every one trying to help you. Tms.
Believe Karim, do the work Karim, and heal.
Thats all I can say, your beating a dead horse, thinking your pain is different or there to stay for life. You get nothing outta doing nothing but just reading a book

Same rules applies to dizziness Karim. I think your Dr told you this? Not sure, but you can let me know.
Its the hardest thing in the world to believe the tms theory.
Or the conflict we all have in the brain.
Dont need to learn it all but learning to apply Sarnos methods will heal you from the dizziness.
Steve Ozanich healed from that issue too among many many others he had, and you said you read his book?
    Theres practice, acceptance, and believing.
Which one are you not wanting to do?

Yes. This is important Karim. It is very easy to not believe, and I recommend looking into each doubt you have by delving deeply into the materials as Herbie suggests. Belief is not easy, and it is hard won. No one here can do this deep inner inquiry except you. We can encourage or try to give you examples of success, and have empathy for you, but the path through will be absolutely yours, exactly like no one else's. Wishing you the greatest strength and courage...

I know it is Karim. The pain I had for 25 years almost had me on disability by age 40.
I couldn't even get out of bed to do anything, when I got help to get up, it was so terrible.
I had to get my wife who always looked at me as her bread winner, the best business leader, the best at everything I did but at 40 I was a crippled up old man, I had to ask her to tie my shoes because I hurt to bad to reach my foot.

I sent in a request for full diability, The shame I held toward myself was a big part of my pain but there was so many other issues that had gone on and was currently running through my mind, all of these issues that I accepted as truth everyday of my life since I was 15 years old was killing me.

Then as if by magic, I read Sarnos book, couldn't believe it was true.
I looked up on the internet for reviews and the miracles that had happened to everyone was even more unbelievable but there was hundreds of those reviews, everywhere, how could that many people not be telling the truth.

I chose to believe Dr. Sarno.
I did all the steps he had outlined in his books.
I studied Steven Ozanichs book. The great pain deception, and many other books with lessons and remedies I had to do everyday. It changed my life.

I healed after about 6-8 months.

Almost 8 years later now, I still practice those lessons daily.

My system, my body, my mind had to take time to change. I had to reprogram almost all my unconscious thougts, I had to start exercising again. I had to stop hiding from public and so much more.

I have a second life now as thousands of other Sarno believers.

I do hope the best for you Karim, living life in pain is living in a darkness no one really understands but them.

Sarno showed me the way, I took the leap.

    God bless you Karim
