To further paraphrase your paraphrasing of Elie Wiesel: Does the survivor of any particular source or type of pain have a monopoly on suffering? All suffering deserves our compassion.

It's a good reminder, no matter where we are on this journey. And whenever I say this, it's because I need the reminder.
