Alright guys I'm on board with the idea that stuff without known source (like fibromyalgia) is tms,

When it's something repeatable and predictable, how is that tms?

My back hurts. If I sit a certain way it goes numb, and then hurts for weeks after. If I sit another way it doesn't hurt.

This is repeatable concerning physical position. How is this tms?

Been there many times and it's one of the amazing ways our brain works.

Don't get so hung up on the pattern. If you have had it for many months, even if it was a physical injury, it's healed now and you should plan to keep going forward until it's gone. Otherwise, it will be there for a very long time.

It's a learned reaction like Pavlovs dogs. I used to get pain when I sat in a slouched position. Today, no pain at all no matter how I sit.
