Day 1 Already feeling it

I've experienced chronic pain since the age of 22, which is going on 8 years now. It completely rattled my life: work, socializing, outlet, finances, mental health, etc. But now, with the acceptance and knowledge of TMS, the way I think and move through the world is completely changing.

I am lit up with gratitude over this new knowledge and have been applying it religiously for the past month. While I am not one of those individuals that has fully recovered just after a few weeks/months of this application, I can feel the drastic changes! Whenever I feel the pain coming on, I can push it away. I can't believe that it has been my emotions and high standards this whole time.

I still am overcoming some fear around my limitations, but with the energy that I know I will overcome it one day.

Welcome to the forum and the SEP, @Sprout - it sounds like you're in the right place and we look forward to hearing about your progress, and to answer any questions you might have!

Welcome!! It's really rare to have a really quick recovery-it's a lot more common to ups and downs as we heal. The fact that you are feeling changes is HUGE! Keep on going-you can do it!
