Not sure how to start my story, but here it goes. I have had relatively constant neck pain which started in my early 20’. Now I am 43 and thing got more complicated in the last few months. In my case, neck pain has always been worst when sitting. Unfortunately, I need to do quite a lot sitting as I always had a desk job since I started working. Fortunately, in the last decades the pain has mostly been manageable. I have tried all treatments and seen a few specialists in the last decades without success. More recently, last 8 years I started having mild back pains as well as neck pain an in the last few months I got a serious upper back issues and had to consult a few therapist to try to get ride of it. As usual, nothing worked and it just got worst. For some reason my pain migrated from my trapezius and scapula to my lower back and finally to my glutes. The I started having serious muscle spasms in my legs that migrated in my arms, etc. Anyhow, long story short I had to got to the emergency and symptoms were out of control and I could not sleep anymore. Since, then I took some pills, saw a new physio (again), consulted my physician (waiting for MRI and for an appointment with the neurologist). However, my symptoms do not make sense and no one understand what is happening.

One thing I know, I have not had an injury in the last few years and even though I have serious pain. Do not seem to have a weird illness or cancer based on my last results. I am fully functional, no weakness and in pretty good shape. The physio don’t really understand why I get those sciatica issues I do not seem to have a pinch.

Finally, nobody has ever discussed the possibility that it may be my brain that is playing trick on me. However, I am fully convinced it has been playing with me for way too long. I recently read the book from John Sarno and for some reason all is starting to make sense. Because of that, I am starting the 30 day program and I am fully committed. I need and want to get ride of pain. I need to live and remember what it is not to have pain for a full day.

    Thanks for listening.
