100% pain free for the past 3 months but then....Politics?

I was watching the American debates last night and my TMS convinced me that I had developed a sharp pain deep inside my liver/gallbladder area. I attributed this immediately to eating too many fries. Be that as it may, when I meditated and watched as my TMS unpacked itself I found there was a lot of rage, fear, and my old favorite TMS trigger- unpredictability. The unpredictability of life.

Without getting into politics I will say that what the future holds and who's hands it will be in can be unnerving.

cheers,

Miss Lexy Lucy

Hi, Lexy. Watching news about the election, and even just reading about it, is making a lot of people anxious and upset.
I think worry about unpredictability is another common symptom of TMS. Bad as this election campaign has been, I keep confident that the good Ship of State will continue to sail on.

Every time I've dealt with bouts of TMS or TMS equivalents has been during prime time of election years, Oct of 2004, summer 2012, and summer of 2016...

Run for elective office, it will TMS/decondition you. Watching how they make laws and sausages can be disgusting--actually sausages should sue for libel--what did sausages ever do to be associated with "law-makers"?, except tossing in an occasional beak for some calcium.

I had to take many breaks from social media because it quite frankly has been toxic. I'm a sensitive person and so it's easy to get overwhelmed by all of the negativity. I can't wait for it to be over!!!

Oh, yes! My anxiety, pain and muscle spasms shot up, and we have another week to go.

A friend posted on Facebook asking if other people were compulsively eating comfort or fast foods because of this election cycle.
i couldn't believe how many people said "yes."
